How Keyhouse works

Two halves. Finding somewhere, and advertising somewhere.

If you are looking for somewhere

Search where you actually want to live

Filter by district and suburb, then by price, land area, bedrooms and what the property has. Every filter is in the address bar, so a search can be sent to whoever you are buying with.

Look at the price history

A property that has been reduced says so, with the old price and when it changed. It is a record, not a sales line.

Contact the advertiser directly

Tap to see the number, or send a message that becomes a conversation you can come back to. No commission, no intermediary, nobody selling your details on.

Ask to view it

Pick one of the times the advertiser offered, or propose your own. The full address is released when the viewing is confirmed, and not before.

If you are advertising somewhere

Post the property

Eight steps, and it saves as you go, so you can stop halfway and come back. If you would rather not deal with a website at all, telephone us and a member of our staff will enter it for you.

A person reads it

Every listing is reviewed before it goes on the site. If something needs changing you get told what, in words, by the person who read it — never a bare rejection.

Watch how it does

Views, how many people asked for your number, how many wrote, and how fast you answered them. Answering quickly earns a badge on your profile that cannot be bought.

Mark it sold

And tell us what it went for, if you are willing. That is private, and it is how we will eventually be able to say what property in the East is really worth.
